The South Carolina Old West Shootists recently held its regularly scheduled monthly “2nd Sunday” match for August on Sunday, August 11, 2024. Six (6) shooters braved the absolutely miserable heat to come out and shoot a full match, including bonus stage.
There were no clean shooters for the match, although Sgt. Henry did notch a “Dagnabbit” courtesy of only 1 miss. Honors for the match go to new posse member Montana (aka Gary Pace), who won his category (Working Cowboy) with impressive speed and accuracy, logging only 3 misses in a raw time of 98.05 seconds, in his second match.

Our next match will be a “Fifth Saturday” match on Saturday, August 31, 2024. The match is scheduled to be a standard full match, consisting of 4 main stages and a bonus stage, based on events from the Old West. Hope to see you all there.
