The South Carolina Old West Shootists (SCOWS) held their regularly scheduled monthly “Second Sunday” match for December on Sunday, December 11, 2022, in the Cooper Pistol Bays at the Mid-Carolina Rifle Club. While the weather forecast threatened rain, we were blessed with a dry morning and early afternoon that allowed the 7 shooters who participated to shoot all 4 main stages and the bonus stage, which challenged shooters’ long-range accuracy with their pistol on a set of widely spaced static and knock-down targets. We gladly welcomed a new shooter at this match — new posse member, Rowdy McCabe, joined us for his first Cowboy Action match.
There were no clean shooters for the match.
