September 2025 IDPA Match Report

September 2025 IDPA Report

We had 22 shooters come to our September 27th match at MCRC. Rain stopped early and temps climbed to the 70’s. There were 4 scenario stages and 1 standards stage using the car. Thanks, shooters, for attending our monthly match. Please let others in the shooting community know if you enjoy our match and help us increase our monthly attendance numbers.

Winners of each class and their division (from Practiscore):

High Expert: Eric Jackson (also High Pistol Caliber Carbine and High Overall)

2nd Overall: Trinh Nguyen, Carry Optics (also High Sharpshooter)

3rd Overall: Gerald Douglas, EX (also High Enhanced Service Pistol)

*Always good to see the top 3 shooters in different divisions*

High Marksman: Chris Cunningham (CO)

High Unclassified: James Browning (PCC)

Most Accurate: Eric Jackson, down 8 for the match, excellent. (Most Accurate are shooters that did not hit a non-threat target on any stage). 17 shooters made the Most Accurate list.

High Stock Service Pistol: Jon Oliver, EX

High Concealed Carry Pistol: Mike Dawson, SS

Setup Crew: Match Directors, Chris Cunningham, Geraldo Cruzado. Just having one extra person cut down our setup time by hours. Many thanks to our local MCRC Safety Officers and all the other Safety Officers and Scorekeepers.

Honorable Mention and Long-Distance Award: How about Chris Haigh from Leeds, UK. A proper northern Englishman and he took some light-hearted ribbing from us locals.
