The South Carolina Old West Shootists (SCOWS), the local NCOWS-affiliated cowboy action shooting posse, held their regularly scheduled monthly “Second Sunday” match for October on Oct. 12, 2021 in the Cooper Pistol Bays at the Mid-Carolina Rifle Club. As usual, the match consisted of 4 main stages, which were based on events related to train robberies that occurred in the Old West during the late 19th Century. There was also a bonus stage, which again allowed shooters to challenge their long-distance pistol or rifle skills.
There was a total of 6 shooters, all of whom participated in different, distinct categories, and one of whom recorded a clean match — Congrats to SGT Henry !!!
